Need API sample to update staff_schedule field for a given content record

I am in need of make a API call create staff_schedule for a given application.

 

I have found the api /api/core/content but didn't find any sample example of how to create staff_schedule users for given content id. Can somebody please help?

What is the staff_schedule? Is it CR or just field?

You cannot create new field for the content, but you can update existing or create a record for given application, but you cannot create metadata structure of the application.
