We greatly appreciate your patience as we have worked through the issues that have been found with links that are redirected to the RSA Link. The information below provides an overview of the issue and the partial resolution.

Issue Summary

The Archer Community formerly lived as a part of the RSA Community, RSA Link, while Archer was part of the broader RSA portfolio of companies.  Archer and RSA have been transitioning to separate into individual organizations over the last 2+ years.  A part of that process involved separating our communities.  During the initial transition from the RSA Link to Archer Community, RSA graciously provided redirect links for embedded URLs on older pages. In December 2023, RSA implemented significant changes to their community and these redirect links are no longer available.

Partial Resolution

The Archer team have worked diligently to review and diagnose this issue. Unfortunately, there was not a programmatic way to fix many of the older URL links. The Archer team has therefore reviewed and corrected many of the URLs on hundreds of commonly used pages.  However, there remain thousands of community.rsa URL links embedded throughout on pages on the Archer Community.

If you find an erring link on a page, please email the page URL and errant link to us at community.support@archerirm.com. We will do our best to find and correct the link.

---------------------------

The Archer Community is currently facing an issue with embedded URLs within certain pages, particularly the older pages that were transitioned from our previous platform, RSA Link, to the Archer Community. The intended functionality is for these links to automatically redirect from the RSA Link URL to the corresponding Archer Community URL. However, unfortunately, the redirects are not currently working as intended.

As a result, when you click on one of these links, you may be directed to log in to the RSA Community instead of seamlessly accessing the page via the Archer Community.

We are actively addressing this matter. We are working closely with our Support Teams to resolve this issue as swiftly as possible. We understand that this may be an inconvenience, and we sincerely appreciate your patience and understanding as we work to implement a solution.

We will keep you updated on the progress, and please feel free to reach out to our support team via the Case Portal if you have any immediate concerns or questions.

Looking for Content or a Specific Article?

Are you looking for a specific article on the Archer Community?  There are ways to find this information while we work with our provider on a workaround for this redirect issue.

The best way to find these items is to look at the URL for the article that you are trying to click on and receiving the error. You'll notice that after the community.rsa.com/t5/ section of the URL, the next section of the URL lists a category name - Archer Discussions.  The set of text after this category is the name of the article.  With the category and the article title, we should be able to find this content.

Let's use the following URL as an example:
https://community.rsa.com/t5/archer-discussions/calculate-a-business-hours-sla-time/m-p/432683
  1. The red text in the URL above shows me that when this content lived in the RSA Link community, the content was found under Archer Discussions.  Navigate to this area of the Community - in our examples case, the Discussions category.
  2. In the search bar at the top of the navigation, click on the drop-down arrow and choose "This board"
  3. The blue text in the URL tells me the article name.  Type in some of the key words that follow the category name "Discussions" that include the key words about the forum topic: "calculate a business hours sla time".  SusanReadMiller_0-1706055616048.png
  4. Press the search icon.
  5. It should return this Archer Community link toward the top of the search results.  https://www.archerirm.community/t5/discussions/calculate-a-business-hours-sla-time/m-p/432683

If you encounter a URL reference like this URL: https://community.rsa.com/docs/DOC-######, unfortunately, the link provides little to no context to help us find the page. Sometimes we can use context clues from the text on the page to find the associated page. But we have had less success connecting these older URLs to the existing pages on the Archer Community.

Again, we thank you for your continued patience.
