RSA Archer 6.1 - Can we enable Autosave the work? For example: If we update a record in any application and if it exceeds the timeout then it might logoff automatically, due to this we might loose all the changes are done. To avoid this, can we enable aut

1. Do we have Auto save work option in RSA Archer 6.1?

2. If we have it, how can we enable it.

 

Our users sometimes take long time before saving the changes made. As it crosses the timeout, it logs off automatically and the user looses all the changes.

Hence we want to know if we can enable autosave the changes automatically.

Unfortunately, Archer does not have an auto-save feature.  

 

There is an enhancement request logged as ARCHER-38909: Ability to have an Auto-Save records option for every time duration to protect user from losing records update in a case of crash or disruption to Archer.  I recommend customers wanting this functionality open an Archer Support Case requesting your company be added to the enhancement request. 

 

Also, Join an RSA Archer Working Group & See Upcoming Schedule‌.  Joining the working groups allows you to speak directly with the Product Team about common issues, provide feedback on current and future features, and share experiences with other customers.

Check out this article https://community.rsa.com/thread/40146 and see if it will meet your needs. It still presents the user with a choice (save or not) but is more "obvious" than the passive system warning.
