Filter Value list values using Custom object based on user group

Hello,

I am trying to filter out certain values from a Drop down value list based on user groups, but I get this error

"Object doesn't support property or method 'hide'"

I was able to accomplish this if the field is a checkbox or a Radio button,

Any guidance on this is appreciated.

Are you using a layout rule and action? You can filter a list object based on a rule and filter list value action.

We are looking to filter values list based on logged in user groups not a static set of groups.
