Key Considerations for this release
- You must use the URLs specified in the blog post Changes to the Archer Engage URLs for the upcoming Archer Engage (Engage for Business Users) release to access the release (v3.0.0).
- The Archer Engage Agent URLs (for publishing content) have changed. If you are using the previous version of Archer Engage (for Business Users), you must change existing Custom Object URLs in your applications and questionnaires as follows:
- Publishing Assessments:
- Old URL: /engageagent/api/questionnaire/Publish
- Replace it with New URL: /engage/api/questionnaire/Publish
- Publishing or Updating Templates:
- Old URL: /engageagent/api/template/Publish
- Replace it with New URL: /engage/api/template/Publish
- Deleting Templates:
- Old URL: /engageagent/api/template
- Replace it with New URL: /engage/api/template
- Change the Custom Object URLs outlined above and republish the records and templates to the new environment to migrate the content from the legacy system to the new environment.
- Portal URLs for Engage Users have changed. Users must use the following URLs to access the new Archer Engage portal v3.0.0 in their respective regions:
- We will continue supporting the use of the legacy Archer Engage (for Business Users) environment (using the legacy custom Object URLs) available at https://archerengage.com/ for ONLY non-prod activities. However, we plan to retire the legacy environment soon. Therefore, we recommend you transition to the new Archer Engage environment as quickly as possible.
Recommendations
No migration option is available for moving data from the legacy Engage site to the new Engage site. Therefore, we recommend that if you have published assessments/records, you change the URLs specified above and republish your assessments, records, and templates.
