In addition, Release 6.9 SP3 includes enhancements for the following back-office Administration functions:
- Application Builder updates provide an updated user experience for building and managing Applications, Questionnaires and Sub-Forms:

- New layout designer displays fields, record layout builder, and field properties in one interface. The layout designer provides field property filter and on-layout field creation capabilities. It also visually simplifies layout properties for the Archer IRM Mobile app.
- Quick field creation allows admins to add a new field within the layout by entering minimal required property values.
- Application and Field listing panels provide an option to display additional configuration parameters.
- New formula builder offers typeahead capabilities for functions and first level of variables. It also provides an option to compare the changes in the edited formula with the saved formula.
- Simplified rules and actions management allows admins to view the list of rules and actions and display details of the selected item from the same page.
- New multi-panel layout page design and tab consolidation reduces user clicks between various pages and pop-up windows.
- Legacy General, Navigation Menu, Administration tabs are now found within the Properties tab
- Legacy Fields Tab are now available within the Designer tab
- All Field property tabs (including General, Display properties, Options, Help Text, and Access) are now located in the Properties panel in the Designer tab
- Support for cross-reference field configuration allowing admins to change from a manual to automated configuration and an automated to manual configuration.
- Data Feed Manager updates deliver administrative user experience improvements:
- Data Feed Listing page displays columns for Target application, Predecessor (Reference Feeds), and Duration.
- All Run Configuration items are consolidated on a single tab, including schedules, post-processing options from existing General tab, Tokens from Source Definition tab, and Update/Archive options from Data Map tab.
- Manage Data Feed page header provides a status link to indicate if the feed is pending, running, or completed, with automatic updates.
- Run Details page automatically updates every 30 seconds.
- Experience improvements for mapping data between source systems include:
- Source Field Pane of Data Map tab has searching and filtering capabilities.
- Target grid of Data Map tab supports filtering and sorting.
- Target grid enables drilling into reference fields to focus on one level of target fields at a time, without repeated expanding and scrolling.
- Breadcrumbs in Target grid show the path to currently displayed level and allows easy navigation back to any of the levels in that path.
- Bi-directional mapping mode enables mapping from source field-to-target field or target field-to-source field.
- Properties for mapping can be accessed from either the source field or the target field.
- Source fields show full path of mapped targets and target fields show full path of mapped source fields.
- New Announcements capability enables administrators to communicate time-sensitive announcements such as system maintenance information with specific users and groups.
- Security Events Report API is now available for all Archer customers (previously released to Archer SaaS). This capability allows Admins to systematically retrieve data that was previously available only through manually run reports.
