The Archer Community team has been partnering up with our Community Platform vendor to bring you new information and capabilities on the Archer Community.

Archer Ideas

Let’s start with some exciting enhancements for Archer Ideas.  Archer Ideas provide a mechanism for you to request enhancements and encourage registered Archer Community users to tap into the power of crowdsourcing to vote for your favorite enhancement ideas. Ideas require you be logged in as a Customer, Partner or Employee to see, add and vote for Idea content.

This month, we implemented a new widget on the right-hand navigation to help you locate additional information about Archer Ideas.

Ideas Navigation.jpg

The new navigation widget provides a link to the Archer Ideas FAQs.  This page provides an overview about Archer Ideas, it describes idea statuses, labels and tags. And the page also explains the status lifecycle stages and how the kudos / votes work.

In addition, we added a link called My Ideas to this new navigation widget. My Ideas provides a list of all of the ideas that you have submitted. The listing provides the Idea title and a short description of the Idea details.

It also shows you the count of the number of people that have viewed, commented, and kudo’ed (i.,e. voted) your idea.

You can click into each idea from this list to review the Idea's current Idea status.

Lastly, you can now view the Ideas that you have voted for in the past.  To see this information, navigate to your profile Picture in the top right-hand navigation and click on My Profile. There is a widget on the right-hand navigation of your profile page that is titled “Posts I kudoed”.  This widget now includes Ideas to the list of content that you have kudo’ed in the past. You can “View All” posts to see a more comprehensive list of content you have provided liked.

Case Studies

Case Studies are now available on the Archer Community and provide a mechanism for you to learn what activities your fellow risk practitioners have been doing to innovate their integrated risk management programs within their organizations. Case studies include videos, quotes and sometimes case study artifacts that highlight the business case, the steps that led to success, and their overall journey. Anyone can view this public content, so please share these successes with your teams.

Local User Groups

Our team has been busy organizing regional user groups for this quarter. Be sure to check out Local User Groups that are coming to cities near you including Indiana, St. Louis, and Dallas in the U.S. and Munich in EMEA. You must be a registered user, be logged in, and have Customer, Partner or Employee permissions to see and register for these events.

Content Update

Lastly, we have been working on a bit of content cleanup for the Archer Community over the last couple of weeks.  We discovered that after the RSA Link to Archer Community migration, there was quite a bit of content in Archer Blogs that really should belong in other areas of the Community. As of last Tuesday, you may notice that several pages that were once located in Archer Blogs may have transitioned into a new home within a different category on the Community. If you’re not finding a specific article, please use the Search bar at the top of the Archer Community to search “All community” to help you locate these articles.

We continue to look for opportunities to make your experience with the Archer Community even better.  If you have ideas, be sure to add enhancements to Archer Ideas. We will also be hosting an Archer Community Tour during this week’s Free Friday Tech Huddle. Please join us to get the most out of your Archer Community experience.
