RSA Archer Upgrade Readiness Assessment

The RSA Archer Upgrade Readiness Assessment is a smaller offering to help your organization ensure the infrastructure is ready for the RSA Archer Platform upgrade.  Customers will receive expertise necessary in providing rapid time-to-benefit for assessing whether the current environment meetings the minimum requirements for the version to be upgraded to. This fixed-price offering provides confidence to assure you have the right infrastructure in place to move forward with your upgrade.

 

The readiness assessment includes:

  • Review of a single environment (up to 2 web, 2 application servers, and SQL server)
  • Assess whether the current environment meets the requirements for the upgrade
  • Provide recommendations to ensure upgrade capability / capacity
  • Report findings for consideration/understanding before upgrading to the new version of RSA Archer
  • The service is delivered remotely by RSA’s Global Services  team

 

Please note, this is not an in-depth review of the infrastructure or application configuration. To provide investigation and recommendations for sizing and performance we suggest you discuss our Health Check offerings with your Account Manager.

 

If your environment does not meet the defined parameters of the offering, a custom engagement may be defined and provided through RSA Professional Services through a formal Statement of Work.

 

RSA Archer Platform Upgrade Offerings

The RSA Archer Upgrade offerings are other small offering with Archer experts to guide you through the software upgrade.  These fixed price offering provides a software upgrade of the licensed on premise RSA Archer product for a single environment or up to three environments. Customers receive upgrade expertise providing rapid time-to-benefit in getting the latest RSA Archer version.

 

The upgrade offerings includes:

  • Kick-off discussions provide a high-level review of the upgrade process, identify roles and responsibilities
  • Readiness checklist, set timelines, and schedule upgrade
  • Upgrade activities to include:
    • Initial validation of environment to confirm readiness for upgrade:
      • Validate software versions, instance settings, and other items indicated in pre-upgrade checklist
      • Confirm servers and services are  operational, installer has been downloaded, license key conversion completed
    • Upgrade of a single environment (1 instance of Archer, up to 2 web, 2 application servers, and SQL server) or upgrade of three environments (3 instances of Archer (DEV, QA and PROD), and up to 2 web, 2 application servers, and SQL server for each instance)
    • Validation Exercises which include site responsiveness, services validated, establish that Advanced Workflow functional, etc.

 

If your environment does not meet the defined parameters of the offering, a custom engagement may be defined and provided through RSA Professional Services through a formal Statement of Work.

 

RSA Archer Upgrade Rollout Strategy

The RSA Archer Upgrade Rollout Strategy offering is tailored to provide RSA Archer awareness and upgrade expertise to ensure your organization is prepared for a successful  adoption of the most recent RSA Archer release.

 

This custom offering includes:

  • Kick-off discussion to provide an overview of the process and offer guidance and planning around best practices for rollout and successful strategies
  • Provide insights and expertise for upgrade related activities
  • Choose from the following deliverables or leverage the comprehensive offering:
    • Impact Analysis
    • Upgrade Readiness Assessment
    • Project Plan and Communication Stratetgy
    • Development Environment upgrades
    • Business Adoption Sessions
    • Documentation Updates: Test Scripts, End User, Solution Administrator Guide
    • Archer solution testing
    • Production deployment and Post-Production Support
