September 28, 2021 — Overland Park, Kansas – Archer®, an RSA® business, today announced it has been positioned as a Leader by Gartner in the 2021 Magic Quadrant for IT Risk Management report. This recognition represents evaluation of Archer based on “Completeness of Vision” and “Ability to Execute.” The 2021 IT Risk Management Magic Quadrant represents the sixth consecutive time Archer has been positioned as a Leader in this report.*
According to Gartner, “by 2023, 80% of organizations with formal risk management programs will use an IT risk management (ITRM) product to manage their cyber and IT risks, which is a significant increase from fewer than 45% today.”
“As IT continues to spread pervasively across all aspects of modern business, the implications of IT risks take on greater operational impacts,” said Bill Diaz, CEO of Archer. “We’re pleased to be recognized by Gartner as a Leader in IT Risk Management Magic Quadrant report and look forward to continuing to add value to customers by combining this strength with our capabilities across other related risk domains.”
The Archer IT & Security Risk Management solution includes nine specific use cases, including a recently launched use case to support organizations working towards CMMC compliance. With a number of new product introductions over the past months, Archer continues to extend the value of its integrated risk management (IRM) platform to support the need to intersect IT risk with many other areas of business risk, including operational resiliency, business continuity, vendor risk management, and regulatory compliance. Additional recent innovations such as Archer Engage to simplify the engagement of broad stakeholder participation in risk and Archer Insight to support quantitative risk analysis further the ability of customers to advance their risk management programs.
