---Update!---

We have reached the transition period and have entered our downtime period as of 5pm EST on Thursday, April 28th. During this transition period, we'll need to ensure no learners are in the system so that all data smoothly migrates. We kindly request that you be ready for a period of no access, potentially lasting until some point on Monday, May 2. Again, there is no interruption to lab environments at all - only the elearning portion (including exams) are undergoing this exciting change.

-----

Hi Archer fans! We are excited to announce that some exciting learning portal changes will be coming to Archer Academy in the next few weeks. We will announce more specifics soon, but we wanted to give you a quick heads-up to expect some changes. All enrollments and transcripts will be brought over, so fear not. There's nothing you need to do - other than to be aware that changes are coming.

Please be sure to subscribe to this article. As new capabilities and dates are announced, I will update this article with specifics. Subscribing to this specific blog will ensure that you'll be notified of changes.

For those that have begun a course in the Archer Academy:

  • If you are currently working through an on-demand course, kindly note that when we make this shift, your course progress will be reset. To resume your learning, you'll simply need to click/scroll through the course to get back to the place you last left.
  • If you are currently working through lab exercises, your lab will not be disrupted. All lab environments include the student guide (slides) and lab guide, so you should be able to continue your learning unimpeded.
  • If you are currently taking or are about to take a course with a live instructor, your course will continue as planned without disruption.
  • If you are planning to take a certification exam from within the platform, please subscribe to this blog so that you will be alerted when official dates of planned downtime is communicated as we migrate data. We want to reduce the risk that you lose access to your exam midway through the testing process.
  • If you are a current subscription holder, your subscription will be carried over without any action required from you.

What will remain the same?

We expect the following activities to remain the same:

  • You'll continue to access the system via https://id.archerirm.cloud - and then click the Archer Academy tile.
  • Course enrollments, transcripts, and subscriptions will be carried over.
  • You'll be able to print certificates of completion for past courses, just as you can today.
  • All courses and exams that you have come to know in our current system will be available in the new system.
  • You'll still be able to purchase training via training credits or credit cards.

Items we expect to change

We expect the following activities will provide a different experience in the new system:

  • Terminology will likely shift: Subscriptions may be called BundlesTraining Credits may be handled via Coupon Codes. The Training Catalog may be known as the Training Store.
  • Gamification (i.e. badges awarded) will be newly available.
  • A new dashboard with all of your courses and badges will help you easily find all of your training, both past and present.

As always, my proverbial door is open for assistance and/or questions via the Archer Community Inbox at @MeganOlvera. Again, please subscribe to this article and I'll keep you updated the moment official dates are locked in.
