Summary

RSA, a Dell Technologies business, announced the scheduled End of Primary Support (EOPS) for RSA Archer Suite version 6.0 as well as all derivative patches effective November 30, 2018. No Extended Support will be offered for this version. Customers under current maintenance contracts can update to the latest version of RSA Archer Release 6.5.

 

Affected Products

RSA Archer Release 6.0 and 6.0.0.1.

 

Recommendation

Customers who have deployed RSA Archer Release 6.0, are encouraged to update to the latest version RSA Archer Release 6.5.

Recommended upgrade paths to the latest version is:

6.0.x  to 6.5 (the latest release)

 

For upgrades from RSA Archer Release 6.0 or earlier:

  • This requires a new license key that is specific to your environment.
  • To obtain a new RSA Archer Release 6.5 license key, please follow these instructions
  • DO NOT install the new 6.5 license key to your 5.x or 6.0 environment. Doing so could result in some content becoming unavailable.

 

With the addition of support for SQL 2016 SP1 and SQL 2017 in Release 6.5, the Platform will no longer support Microsoft SQL Server 2014 and Microsoft SQL Server 2016 (with the exception of SQL Server 2016 Enterprise Edition) for RSA Archer versions below Release 6.4 SP1.  For more information, visit the blog Getting Future Ready: Database Edition.
