Create popup message upon save

We would like to create an custom object that will create a popup message when a user hits save on a new record.

Something like "Are you sure that you have entered all information?"  Then if they hit YES the record saves.

If they hit NO they go back to the record. Is that easy with a small custom object code? Any help is appreciated.

Definitely possible with a custom object to hijack the existing Save, Save & Close buttons, and create a pop-up. There are examples of how to do that out here on the Community if you search.
