Dashboard Access Rights by Solution

Manage Dashboards > Edit or Create New > Access Tab > Private > Solutions Groups List
Selecting this option allows a user access to a dashboard based on the solutions to which the user has already been granted access. It might be useful in a situation where a new dashboard is created. Instead of re-configuring every access role to include the new dashboard, an administrator can link the dashboard to other solutions, and the users with access to those solutions will also be granted access to the private dashboard.
To configure:
- Create or edit a Dashboard. In this case, Compliance Management. Configure Dashboard access as preferred. In this example, access is granted to users[1] with the access role Solution Access Test[1] ([1] See Appendix). The Solution Access Test role grants a user full access to the Issue Management Solution
- Create or edit a second Dashboard. In this case, Policy Management. Configure Dashboard to allow access to your preferred solution, in this example Issue Management is used.
- Note that users without permission to access the Issue Management solution also have no access to Policy Management.
- Note that users that do have access to Issue Management can also view Policy Management.
