Release Notes
The Australia Prudential Regulatory Authority (APRA) released CPS 230 – a regulatory standard related to Operational Resilience. This standard is designed to outline key requirements for managing operational risk, including updated requirements for business continuity and third-party management.
The key objective of this release is to enhance and further integrate Archer’s Operational Resilience solution offering in conjunction with CPS 230.
Key features:
Align Archer’s Operational Resilience solution with go forward CPS230 regulatory requirements including the following:
- Linked third-party engagement, risk and impact tolerances to business processes and /or product and services
- Updated the calculation for business process Maximum Tolerable Period of Disruption (MPTD) for product and services
- Expanded BIA questions, reporting, and archive feed specific to business processes to include customer(s), company, subcontractors, and other impacts
- Updated operational scenario analysis to allow for the selection of either business processes or products and services
- Refined applications, devices, information assets, facilities, and third parties to include cross-references to business continuity/disaster recovery plans
