RSA Archer offers a feature called Audit Logging that can be enabled in the Archer Control Panel (ACP). A commonly asked question is, “How can I see what Audit Logging is doing?”

Audit Logging tells your Archer Instance to send syslog messages to the configured endpoint. This means that turning it on will cause Archer to send out messages, but if nothing is listening on that endpoint, the messages are lost.

The Audit Log Listener is a small utility that can be run either as a console application or as a service to listen for the syslog messages coming out of Archer Audit Logging.

Please note that this is not an RSA supported utility, and is intended as a proof-of-concept for non-prod environments and testing purposes.  Archer Support and Engineering teams will not be able to customize or enhance it.  Use at your own risk!
