During the first day of the Charge Conference in Dallas, the Archer Product Team will be hosting a series of working groups on our various solutions areas.

I’ll be hosting the session on ORM, or ERM, or Risk Management, or maybe IRM? You know what, I think some clarification is in order.

The way analysts and markets approach risk management has shifted. Operational Risk was becoming Enterprise Risk, trying to bring together all the risks of the Enterprise under the same heading, nomenclature and mantle. And now Gartner introduced their concept of Integrated Risk Management, going beyond just the risks and bringing all GRC dimensions (and Legal) together in a common integrated framework.

The nature of IRM, and how we can use Archer to get to such an integrated state will be the overarching topic during the Charge Working Group. IRM is the goal, and we will discuss the following aspects that each help move towards more integration and real management of business risk:

  • Common Nomenclature
  • Risk Scoring Approach: criteria, qual VS quant…
  • Assessments
  • Validation and approval
  • Reporting

The links are being pasted after being clicked on, and are including a session token in them. Stripping off all but the base URL should work.

Try this:

Thanks Scott, I have updated the Registration link with the base URL
